“Desperation is a sign of impatience.”

Elaboration - When you get desperate, you are willing to settle because you really don’t want to WAIT any longer.

But… PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE

·         “By your patience possess your souls.” Luke 21:19

·         “3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:3-4

·         “10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Hebrews 6:10-12

·         “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not(don’t give up!).” Galatians 6:9

·         “13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage(be encouraged!), and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.” Psalm 27:13-14
